Girl Scouts Fair Winds Council Welcomes You!
Plane Pull!Build your Team & Register today! Join the Excitement of the PLANE PULL! at Bishop International Airport on September 6th, 2008. Teams of 20 will compete to pull a Boeing 727 a distance of 12'. This event is being presented in collaboration with Bishop International Airport and FedEx. All proceeds benefit Girl Scouts Fair Winds Council. All the information you need to get started is here on our website!
Camp O'Fair Winds is located near Lapeer, Michigan, and provides facilities for a variety of exciting activities. Girls can swim, canoe, row, work on arts & crafts, play sports, shoot archery, challenge themselves on our ropes & initiatives courses, and more. All of our programs are designed to encourage risk-taking in a safe and supportive environment. Girls develop self-confidence and group communication skills as they plan their own activities and set goals for themselves. These are all skills that will help girls succeed in the future.
The Timbers is located in Traverse City, Michigan, and is attended by young women aged 11 to 17. This camp is an outdoor adventure camp designed to challenge and encourage young women to believe in themselves and learn group dynamics through canoeing, biking, sailing, hiking or general camp programs. The Timbers has many of the attractions of a traditional summer camp, like swimming and boating lessons and arts and crafts.
