The Golf Classic FORE! the Girls is dedicated to raising funds which will benefit the programs and services of Girl Scouts Fair Winds Council. Golf for the day, or come to the banquet and silent auction at the close of the day.
Your day of golf will support adventure, challenge and other confidence-building opportunities for the girls and young women of Genesee, Lapeer, Northern Oakland and Shiawassee counties. Download the registration form now!
Camp O'Fair Winds is located near Lapeer, Michigan, and provides facilities for a variety of exciting activities. Girls can swim, canoe, row, work on arts & crafts, play sports, shoot archery, challenge themselves on our ropes & initiatives courses, and more. All of our programs are designed to encourage risk-taking in a safe and supportive environment. Girls develop self-confidence and group communication skills as they plan their own activities and set goals for themselves. These are all skills that will help girls succeed in the future.
The Timbers is located in Traverse City, Michigan, and is attended by young women aged 11 to 17. This camp is an outdoor adventure camp designed to challenge and encourage young women to believe in themselves and learn group dynamics through canoeing, biking, sailing, hiking or general camp programs. The Timbers has many of the attractions of a traditional summer camp, like swimming and boating lessons and arts and crafts.
